Birthday Parties (dev)

Our Public and Private Birthday parties offer a variety of options and are guaranteed to provide a party you and your guests won’t forget! We offer parties for groups of all ages, including Teen Birthday Parties!

Our Public Birthday Parties and our “Teen Birthday Parties” are for smaller groups with a maximum of 25 people (25 people includes spectators and skaters, adults and children. So, add the children, family members and supervising adults and this number should be 25 people or less.) If you are expecting a larger group, consider our Exclusive Private Party Packets or the DIY Private Party.

Bookings are for one birthday person only. In the case of twins, please contact us at 970-482-0497, ext. 7.

All parties require a “lead time” of three days to book online. Deposits are non-refundable/non-transferable.

Public Party Options

  • Fridays: 6:00pm-9:00pm
  • Saturdays: 12:00pm-3:00pm, 1:30pm-4:30pm, 3:00pm-6:00pm, 4:30pm-7:30pm, 6:00pm-9:00pm
  • Sundays: 12:00pm-3:00pm, 1:30pm-4:30pm

***We also have availability during most School Out Skates and during the Summer Schedule when we have weekday public skating hours. We follow the Poudre School District calendar. Most (but not all) School Out Skates will have availability for Public Party bookings.

Private Options ("Exclusive Packets" AND "DIY" Packet)

  • Saturday: 10am-12pm
  • Sunday: 10am-12pm, 5:30pm-7:30pm

**Birthday person is included in number of participants.

*All options include skate rental for participants

Public Party Options

  • Your host will prepare the party area, serve the food and handle clean-up
  • We also provide skate themed place settings (cups, napkins, plates), as well as utensils and tablecloth set-up
  • The party area is a 1-hour reservation. It's during the middle hour of the 3-hour event (so the second hour).
  • First hour is check-in and skating and playing; Second hour is in the party area and more structured; Third hour is skating and playing
  • Additional large pizzas and additional beverage pitchers may be purchased
  • Reminder: public parties come with a 1-hour party area rental in which pizza and your cake are served by your personal host.
  • We offer a discounted rate for parents that would like to skate, but are not participating in other attractions, nor receiving tokens
  • There is a capacity limit of 22 people with Public Party packets; this includes any children participants as well as adult/parent spectators. We recommend no more than 14 children to make room for family members that are spectating (i.e. grandma and grandpa) and parents attending to supervise their children. So, add the children, family members and supervising adults and this number should be 22 people or less
  • Before booking, please be sure to review our "Outside Food Policy" "for Public birthday options" below

Exclusive Party Options (Private)

  • We provide the DJ and you'll have a host to set-up, serve food, and clean-up
  • We also provide skate themed place settings (cups, napkins, plates), as well as utensils and tablecloth set-up
  • Additional large pizzas and additional beverage pitchers may be purchased
  • We offer a discounted rate for parents that would like to skate, but are not participating in other attractions, nor receiving tokens
  • The rink is all yours for a total of 2 hours! (Additional time may be available at an additional cost); dependent on availability

DIY (Private)

  • The DIY is a simple facility rental; You would handle the place settings and all food/beverage items. With this option, you can have it catered or do your own outside food and drink. We do not provide any food for this option
  • If you'd like to use your own place settings and theme, then this may be the option for you
  • The rink is all yours for a total of 2 hours! (Additional time may be available at an additional cost); dependent on availability
  • We provide the DJ. However, this party does not come with a host
  • Includes skating and skate rental; additional attractions may be added at an additional cost
  • This is a great option for large birthday parties and group events!!!
  • Our scheduling only provides a grace period of 15 minutes to enter the facility before your start time. So, for example, if your event begins at 5:30pm, you will not have access to the building until 5:15pm

Facility Status and Time

  • Public status means the event is held during our public skating hours
  • Private parties are outside of public skating hours. No other groups are using the facility and your party gets use of the *general snack bar area; (For private parties only, additional time may be available at an additional cost.)

Participants versus Non-participants

  • Participants are typically the children - skaters; for the Public options and the Exclusive options, participants also receive 12 arcade tokens
  • Non-participants are typically non-skaters (parents; relatives - generally anyone spectating only); Non-participants are not charged to spectate

Outside Food Policy

For Public birthday options

If you book a Public Birthday Party option, then you may bring in cake or cupcakes to be served in the party area. NO OTHER FOOD AND NO BEVERAGES MAY BE BROUGHT IN. Upon check-in, our staff will store these food items until time for the 1-hour party area rental. Our staff will then hold these items again after that 1-hour reserved in the party area

For Exclusive birthday options

You would provide the cake. If you'd like to bring additional food/drink, to accompany the pizza that we provide, you are welcome to do so!!
***Cake
  • Rollerland does not provide cake for any of our party packets
  • Only private parties can have cake in the *general snack bar area
  • You must book a party packet to be allowed to bring a cake
  • During open/public skating hours, outside food is not allowed in the open snack bar or public areas of our facility. So, public party groups must keep the cake in the party area that is reserved for the middle hour
  • Only private parties can have cake in the *general snack bar area


*general snack bar area - the general snack bar area is the seating area with tables in our snack bar that, during open skating, is used by the public
