Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and for many families in Fort Collins that means company! If you’re hosting friends or family from out of town- or just want to make the most of the kids’ time off school for Poudre’s Thanksgiving break– then come on over to Rollerland for some family fun!
We’ll be closed on Thanksgiving day to allow our employees to celebrate with their families, but we will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. (Don’t forget that you can get FREE admission on Tuesday from 5-8 pm with a nonperishable food donation to benefit the Food Bank of Larimer County!) It can be hard to find family-friendly activities that work for everyone in your family, from the little kids up to the older folks. Fortunately we have something for all ages and abilities!
Skate around our spacious skating rink and get your groove on to awesome music played by our live DJ. Challenge each other to the laser maze, and see how many tickets you can win in our arcade! We even have a 3-level indoor playground where kids 11 and younger can run wild and burn off some excess energy. You’re sure to come away with some great memories and maybe even a new family tradition.
And don’t forget, roller skating is great exercise! If you’re feeling more stuffed than the turkey after your Thanksgiving feast, it’s important to get moving. Rather than settling in on the couch, get your whole family up to take a walk or play games in the yard, from corn hole to bocce ball to flag football. Plan to come skate with us when we reopen on Friday, especially if you hit the dessert table a little too hard!
We’ll have some great specials available the week of Thanksgiving, so check out our calendar for details and be sure to follow us on Facebook to stay up to date on our family events in Fort Collins!
