Rollerland is the go-to place for roller skating in Fort Collins. After more than 40 years here, generations of families have enjoyed skating at our 1200 square foot skating rink, and we’re a longtime supporter of local public schools. If you have a school aged child in the Poudre School District (or have at some point in the last couple of decades), then you’ve likely attended at least one of our school fundraiser events. But what you might not know is that there’s so much more to us than just roller skating! Keep reading to learn about all of our fun attractions, and start planning your next family outing or group event now.
(3 More!) Things to Do in Fort Collins
Unleash Your Kids on our Indoor Playground
Skating isn’t the only way to be active at Rollerland. We also have an indoor playground for kids 10 and under! Our playground includes 3 levels and 2,000 square feet of tunnels, swings, slides, platforms, and portholes. Kids have a blast climbing, sliding, and exploring the playground, but there’s another reason why parents love it, and that’s because it provides a safe place for kids to burn off some energy, no matter what the weather is like! You don’t have to worry about rain, snow, heat, or bugs at our indoor playground… Just remember to wear socks and you’re golden.
Test Your Skill in the Laser Maze
Our most unique attraction is, without a doubt, our laser maze. This “maze” is actually a field of crisscrossing laser beams, and the challenge is for a player to cross the maze without touching any lasers (or more likely, for those of us who aren’t super spies, touching the beams as few times as possible). Your journey across the maze is timed, so the challenge lies not only in agility, but also in speed! The longer you take, and the more lasers you hit, the higher your score. See how low you can go, and challenge your kids or partner to see who can get the lowest score.
Our laser maze is the first in Northern Colorado, so you don’t want to miss out on this unique experience. Once you try it, you’re definitely going to want another run to improve your score. Fortunately, admission is just $3.50 per person for 2 runs, or $5.50 per person for 4 runs!
Play to Win in the Arcade
Roller skating is a great way to feel like a kid again, but if you need a break to catch your breath, there’s another option for nostalgic fun—head over to the arcade! Our arcade is full of both classic and new redemption and arcade games, from skee ball and air hockey to Pac-Man and Galaga. Win tickets to exchange for prizes like Nerf guns, candy, toys, glow accessories, or even giant plushies!
